Shivarajkumar Explains Why He Stays Away From Politics

Shivarajkumar has clearly shared his views on politics, saying that actors can serve society without entering the political field. He believes that doing good work for people does not require political power.

Shivarajkumar’s upcoming film ’45’, co-starring Upendra is directed by music composer Arjun Janya who is making his debut as a director. Raj B. Shetty plays an important role in the film which is scheduled for release on December 25th.

During the film’s press meet held on December 22nd a journalist asked why stars like Shivarajkumar and Upendra have not entered politics unlike many actors in Tamil Nadu.

Responding to the question Shivarajkumar said he does not understand politics much and feels actors can help people directly through their work and personal efforts. He added that he helps people with his own money and without any discrimination.

His statement has won praise from fans and is being widely discussed in Kannada film circles especially as excitement grows for 45.
