From the past few weeks news has been circulating that ace director Shankar is planning to remake the 2005 blockbuster Anniyan ( Aparichithudu in Telugu) in Hindi. News also came out that noted Bollywood star Ranveer Singh will be doing the lead role in the movie.
Now, making the above news into reality, this morning Shankar tweeted “In this moment, no one will be happier than me, bringing back the larger than life cinematic experience with @RanveerOfficial in the official adaptation of cult blockbuster Anniyan. @jayantilalgada @PenMovies”.
On the other hand, Shankar’s yet another project with Ram Charan was also announced a couple of weeks back which is expected to go on the floors in the second half of 2021.
Now, with two major announcements, it will an interesting aspect to watch how Shankar manages the time for both.
