Shalini Chooses Producer Role Over Acting Comeback

Shalini’s reported association with Ajith Kumar’s upcoming film Dare Devil has created interest among fans. Director Adhik Ravichandran was reportedly keen to bring Shalini back to the screen for a special appearance.

However reports suggest that she has turned down the offer and has no plans to return to acting. Instead Shalini may work behind the scenes as a producer.

The film stars Ajith in the lead and is expected to be a commercial entertainer for family audiences for sure.

Anirudh Ravichander is reportedly composing the music with shooting expected to begin by the end of September without fail.

Shalini and Ajith fell in love while working on Amarkalam in 1999 and later married. Since then Shalini has stayed away from acting. Dare Devil could now bring them together professionally.
