Sekhar Kammula Clears The Air On Leader 2

Director Sekhar Kammula who spent nearly three years working on Kubera, is all set for its grand release this Friday.

Featuring Dhanush, Nagarjuna and Rashmika in lead roles and the movie has created a decent buzz with its intriguing promotional content. During a recent media interaction Sekhar shared insights about his next projects.

When asked about a possible sequel to his political drama Leader he revealed that while the script for Leader 2 is ready it may not reflect today’s political scenario.

“Every individual’s thinking has changed more than the politicians,” he said indicating that the sequel isn’t happening anytime soon.

He also said he has been discussing a project with actor Nani but the talks are still in early stages. He confirmed there are no plans for a Kubera sequel.

Looking back on his career he expressed satisfaction with the ten films he made in 25 years and thanked movie lovers for accepting him as a filmmaker.
