Saumya Tandon Dives Into Intense Role

Saumya Tandon, has been added to the star cast of Aditya Dhar’s upcoming action-thriller, Dhurandhar. The film stars Ranveer Singh and is scheduled for a theatrical release on December 5th.

In an interview Saumya revealed that although her part is small it’s one of the most intense roles she has ever taken on.

She said that she joined the film specifically to work with writer, director and producer Aditya Dhar whom she has long admired. This role is a departure for the actress as audiences are used to seeing her in “chirpy, vivacious characters”.

Saumya shared an amazing detail that her scenes are exclusively with either Ranveer Singh or Akshaye Khanna.

She highly praised Akshaye as a “complete scene stealer” and enthusiastically stated that she believes this film showcases Ranveer best performance to date.
