Karthi and Arvind Swamy teamed up for a movie titled “Sathyam Sundaram“. The teaser and trailers for the film have received a lot of praise. The movie was directed by C. Prem Kumar and released in Tamil on September 27th and in Telugu a day later, on September 28th, because of “Devara“.
On its first day, “Sathyam Sundaram” received positive feedback in Telugu as well. However, due to competition from “Devara”, its opening numbers were not as strong.

“Satyam Sundaram” had a theatrical business of Rs. 6.27 crores. To break even, it needs to reach a share of Rs. 7 crores. In the first 3 days, the film collected a share of Rs. 2.07 crores, meaning it still needs Rs. 4.93 crores to break even.
