Sarkaru Vaari Paata creates new TFI records

Superstar Mahesh Babu has been the king of box office and has the kind of following that very few actors in TFI do. He is also the undisputed king in the USA, with his films opening to great numbers in the country and always collecting well at the box office, no matter what.

Now, Mahesh’s recent film, Sarkaru Vaari Paata, has created new records in TFI, with the film collecting more than 160+ crores gross worldwide, making it the fastest film to do so till now. The film also created a record by being the fastest movie to collect 100+ crores share worldwide for any Telugu film.

All of this is despite the major hit due to the pandemic and less footfall at theatres. SVP registered the first major hit for Tollywood this year, apart from the pan-Indian films that have been released so far. The film is directed by Parasuram, with Keerthy Suresh as the leading lady of the film, and Samuthirakani as the antagonist.
