Rana Daggubati and Sai Pallavi’s upcoming film, Virata Pravam, has been in the making for quite some time now, with everyone wondering whether the film would even be released in the first place or not. At last, the film is all set to be released on June 17th. It is already known that Virata Parvam is based on the real-life events that took place in Telangana, in the 1990s.
It has now been revealed that there’s a real-life inspiration behind Sai Pallavi’s character in the film, Vennela. A woman named Sarala is said to be the inspiration behind Vennela, who goes in search of Rana’s character Ravanna, the leader of a Naxalite group. Virata Parvam has the love story of Vennela and Ravanna at its core, making it all the more interesting.
On the other hand, Sarala’s mother is said to have given Sai Pallavi a saree, which is said to have brought tears to her eyes. Virata Parvam is directed by Venu Udugula, who is making his directorial debut with the film, and the film features Priyamani and Naveen Chandra in key roles.
