Santhanam is the lead in the upcoming film Devil’s Double: Next Level, directed by Prem Anand. The movie also stars Geethika Tiwari, Selvaraghavan, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Nizhalgal Ravi, Rajendran, Kasthuri, Redin Kingsley and Yashika Anand.
It is produced by Niharika Entertainment and presented by actor Arya through The Show People. The film is set to release on June 16th.
At a recent press meet Santhanam shared that Arya encouraged him to work on the film when he was feeling low. Arya told him he missed the fun side of Santhanam from his comedy days and promised to support him through this project.
Santhanam praised the film’s story, humor and direction, calling Prem Anand the “Christopher Nolan of Tamil cinema” for his layered storytelling.
He also addressed a controversy about a devotional song clarifying that he is a devotee of Lord Perumal and meant no disrespect. He expressed interest in campaigning for Udhayanidhi if needed.
