In a recent podcast titled KINGDOM Boys, celebrated filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga shared his early impressions of Vijay Deverakonda’s upcoming film KINGDOM. After watching a 50-minute rough cut, Vanga revealed he was deeply impressed by the storytelling even without the final background score in place.
Sandeep highlighted how the narrative gripped him entirely, so much so that he didn’t even realize the background music was missing. He attributed this to the film’s layered screenplay and strong direction by Gowtam Tinnanuri. The storytelling, set across different timelines, kept him invested throughout.
He lauded the filmmakers for crafting such emotionally engaging scenes that worked purely on their own merit. “It speaks volumes about the screenplay when you forget there’s no score backing the visuals,” Vanga noted. His praise has added significant buzz ahead of the film’s June 31st release.
