Sandeep Reddy Vanga Hits Back At Critics Over Rapthadu Incident
The Rapthadu school incident in Andhra Pradesh has shocked the nation and raised concerns about children’s safety.
Following the tragedy, films like Arjun Reddy, Animal and Dhurandhar are being blamed for influencing violent behaviour among youngsters.
Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga has once again faced much criticism over the violence shown in his films. Reacting strongly, he said people should focus on the root causes of such crimes instead of blaming cinema and filmmakers.
He clearly argued that tragedies deserve empathy rather than attempts to target others for personal reasons for sure.
Sandeep also criticised certain actors, directors and producers for using such incidents to attack his work, calling their behaviour opportunistic.
When someone commits a heinous crime, the first response should be empathy & an attempt to understand the larger problem. Not finding a convenient scapegoat in cinema.
It is becoming increasingly clear that your concern is not for the victims or their families, but that you’re using a horrific tragedy as a dirty excuse to settle your personal scores.
This is especially directed at those failed frustrated jobless male/female actors, few directors, producers & parasites, who suddenly appoint themselves as social reformers whenever an opportunity arises to take a dig at someone else’s work.A tragedy deserves empathy , not opportunism. Learn the difference.
