Sandeep Kishan has been busy for over a year with his Tamil and Telugu commitments. The actor has given lot of time for his Tamil movies Maayavan and Maanagaram. He released Maanagaram as Nagaram in Telugu and is busy finishing off shooting his Maayavan. He limited himself to one movie in Telugu, Nakshatram in the direction of Krishna Vamsi. The director wanted to show Sandeep in a new light with an ensemble cast and the movie is quickly shaping up for a release.
In Nakshatram, actor Tanish is playing a negative role and Sai Dharam Tej will be seen as a young police officer with high morals in an extended cameo. Pragya Jaiswal, Regina Cassandra will be seen as leading ladies. Along with them, JD Chakravarthy, Prakash Raj, Sivajiraja, Bhramaji will be seen in important roles. Shriya Saran recently shot a special song for the movie. The movie is slated for a release soon and Sandeep who waited all this time, is ready to start his next film in Telugu.
The actor has given a nod to Vamsi Krishna the director of Dongata and Kittu Unnadu Jagratta for his next. The script is quite funny and intelligent as per the sources and the actor is prepping for his role at this moment. The script of the film is penned by Prasanna Kumar, who wrote Nenu Local and Cinema Choopistha Mava. The writer is confident that this movie will also become a hit and suit Sandeep Kishan the best as the writer wrote keeping him in mind. Rupesh D. Gohil will produce the movie and Nazir Shafi is selected as Cinematographer.
