After the success of Virupaksha, Sai Dharam Tej took his time to pick the right script and signed Sambarala Yeti Gattu a big-budget action drama.
He transformed his look for the role and the shoot is nearing completion, with about 20 days of filming left.
The film was the first to announce a Dasara release, but with biggies like OG and Akhanda joining the race, the makers decided to step out of the festive slot.
Currently, the VFX work is going on, and the team is considering two possible release dates in December. If there are no major releases around that time, Sambarala Yeti Gattu will hit the screens then.
This is said to be the most expensive film in Sai Dharam Tej’s career. Directed by debutant Rohith KP, the film stars Aishwarya Lekshmi as the female lead, with Jagapathi Babu and Srikanth in key roles.
Niranjan Reddy is backing the project.
