Samantha Akkineni’s debut web series The Family Man 2 was initially scheduled for release on February 12th on Amazon Prime. It was Samantha’s OTT debut. She has played a negative role in the series. A lot has been riding on her. Samantha has actively participated in the promotions as well in Mumbai very recently.

Fans of The Family Man are eagerly waiting to binge-watch the series. However, the latest update is that the web series has been postponed. The recent controversies of web series on Amazon Prime is said to be the reason for this delay. The web series Mirzapur 2, and Tandav have been surrounded by controversies that hurt the religious sentiments.

So, The Family Man 2 makers are reportedly editing out a few of the political punches in the series as well and also omitting few sequences that might hurt the religious sentiments. The fresh release date of The Family Man 2 will be out very soon.
