Samantha to play investigative journalist in U Turn Remake

There had been a buzz that Samantha might star in the remake of the upcoming Kannada film U Turn and well, the interesting update is that it isn’t a buzz any more and the actress herself has confirmed it. In fact, she has shared that the film will be made as a bilingual and will have a huge release in Telugu as well.

The actress had visited Bangalore a month ago to see the film as she was already a huge fan on Pawan Kumar who had earlier made the critically acclaimed film Lucia. She wanted to see how this film was and if she could be a part of it in any way. “I recently went to Bangalore to watch the film and really loved the way it has been made. The story revolves around the female protagonist and is a very interesting thriller,” shared the actress speaking to a leading English daily.The film is set to go on floors soon and will see Samantha play an investigative journalist.
