Samantha starts her Granny movie!

Can you imagine Samantha playing a 80 year old Grand mother? One day she wishes to go back to her younger days again and enjoy the world as her son thinks about sending her to an old age home.

Her wish gets granted and she turns 21 again. She becomes completely young with a 50 something son. Their equation gets awkward and to not make it too complicated he introduces her as her daughter to people.

A young man falls in love with her and then the complication increases further. What will a old brain stuck in young woman’s body think like and behave? Novel thought right? A Korean comedy film, Oh My Darling Granny, came on this line.

Samantha is remaking it with Nandini Reddy as director and Naga Shourya in an impactful role. Rao Ramesh is playing her son. A prosthetic make-up team is flown in to Hyderabad to get Samantha look right. This is her next release in Telugu after Majili. It could release in Tamil, as well.
