Samantha addresses rumours surrounding divorce

Once a person becomes a public personality, the privacy of a person’s life is very often compromised, with everyone’s eyes on everything that happens in the life of that person in question. Film celebrities are often subject to this invasion of privacy on more than one occasion, with the public’s eye constantly watching them and judging them on everything.

The same thing has been happening ever since Samantha and Naga Chaitanya announced their divorce on October 2nd. There have been many rumours and allegations directed at Samantha ever since then, with many stories doing the rounds, of the potential reason behind Samantha and Naga Chaitanya’s divorce, most of which have blamed Samantha.

Addressing this, Samantha took to her social media profiles and posted a long story that reads “Your emotional investment into a personal crisis has overwhelmed me. Thank you all for showing deep empathy, concern and for defending me against false rumours and stories that are being spread. They said I had affairs, never wanted children that I am an opportunist and now that I have had abortions. A divorce in itself is a painful process. Let alone allowing me the time to heal. This attack on me personally, has been relentless. But I promise you this, I will never allow this or anything else they say, break me”.
