Salman Khan’s much-awaited war drama Battle of Galwan may not release on Eid 2025 as planned. According to reports, the makers are exploring other release options.
After the motion poster created a buzz among fans it is now said that the film won’t hit screens in mid-March, when Eid falls next year.
Directed by Apoorva Lakhia the film is based on the 2020 Galwan Valley clash between Indian and Chinese troops.
Due to the film’s large scale and the challenging shooting conditions in Ladakh high altitudes the team does not want to rush production or post-production just to meet the Eid deadline.
Sources say the makers are considering a release around Bakri Eid. If that doesn’t work, they might target the Independence Day weekend.
A final decision is expected by December this year. Talks with exhibitors have already begun for possible release slots.
