Along with starring in some of the biggest hits and giving some power-packed performances, Salman Khan is also known for giving a break to a large number of actors, who otherwise would have struggled to be on the silver screen. One such actress who was launched in a film without having any film connection was Sneha Ullal.
Salman launched her as the leading actress in his romantic drama Lucky: No Time For Love when she was just a teenager. Released in 2005, the movie was directed by Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru and it also starred Mithun Chakraborty, Kader Khan, and Navni Parihar. Following Lucky, Sneha acted in some Hindi and South films. However, she didn’t do too many films after her debut.
Sneha recently revealed the bond she shares with Salman despite it being years since she did Lucky. Speaking to Free Press Journal on whether she still is in touch with Salman, she said, “It’s been a while since I met him. I attended his birthday. I am a very anti-social person. It’s not a good thing. I remember he would always invite me for his birthday and want me to go there to enjoy and chill for a bit. In Bollywood, you have to keep in touch with everyone and attend parties and I am not a party person.”
During the same conversation, Sneha also honestly admitted that she should have studied the art of acting back then. “I always felt that I should have trained myself better from learning acting to learning the skills of existing here. Even today, if anyone wishes to become an actor, I always tell them (to) first go and learn everything. Don’t just fancy coming in front of the cameras. Nobody groomed actors after they launched them. Today it’s different.”
On the professional front, currently, Sneha has two films in her kitty in the form of Scar and 3rd October.
