Salman Khan finally breaks silence on rumors of physical abuse of Aishwarya Rai

Remember when Salman Khan stated this to allay concerns that he had physically abused Aishwarya Rai? Salman Khan’s private lives have frequently made headlines. He was said to have been dating Aishwarya Rai at the beginning of his professional life. However, online media sources claim that the pair split up because he physically abused her. Salman once talked about the same while denying it, despite the fact that there has already been much said and published about the erstwhile supposed relationship.

When the unversed were filming Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam (1999), their scandalous love affair made news. Recently, we stumbled out an old interview tape where Salman admitted that he can’t smack a lady since he can only fight with her, and if he did, she wouldn’t have survived.

In the viral video, when Salman Khan was asked if he has ever raised your hand against a woman, he promptly replied saying, “Now the woman has said that I have now let it go.” He then recalls an incident, “There was a journalist who asked me this a long time ago. He said that I’ve hit a woman. So I just banged the table. He goes startled. The table nearly broke. I said ‘now if I hit somebody, It’s obviously going to be a fight. I am gonna be angry.”

Salman further added, “I am going to, you know, forgot a whack, I am gonna give her like my best shot. I don’t think she survived it. So, no it’s not true. And I don’t know for what reason that was said but let it go.”

Soon after the old video resurfaced on the web, netizens began dropping their comments as they didn’t seem to agree with him. A user wrote, “This is the level of acting we need from him in his movies.” While another said, “He also didn’t kill the deer and also didn’t drive the car.”

A fifth user further comment, “Yah” is the first word he says after a deep sigh and makes a mischievous face. It’s obvious he’s hit more than one women and cheated on all of them. He should never marry.”

Salman Khan is returning with Katrina in the highly awaited Tiger 3 film, which is now in production. Later this year, he was featured in Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan after making a cameo in Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan.
