Prabhas’ highly anticipated film “Salaar,” directed by Prashanth Neel, is generating immense excitement as its theatrical release approaches in less than a month. Both fans and trade circles are placing lofty expectations on Prabhas, hoping for a spectacular comeback through this project.
Amidst the fervor, the theatrical business details for the Telugu states have been revealed. Originally, the makers had quoted substantial figures: 75 crore for Nizam, 35 crore for Ceeded, and 100 crore for Andhra. Homable Films aimed for a business in the 200 crore range from the Telugu states.
However, negotiations with buyers have led to revised prices. Ceeded’s deal has been sealed at 25 crore, and the Andhra region’s deal now ranges between 75 to 80 crore. Nizam’s discussions are hovering around 60 crore. Consequently, the total business value for the Telugu states now stands in the range of 160 to 165 crore.
“Prabhas’ Salaar” has become a focal point in the cinematic landscape of 2023, with promotions for the Prashanth Neel directorial slated to begin in the coming weeks. The film boasts a star-studded cast including Shruti Haasan, Jagapathy Babu, Prithviraj Sukumaran, and Easwari Rao in pivotal roles. Scheduled for a worldwide release on September 28th.
