“Salaar: Part 1: Ceasefire” managed to create immense hype with the audiences and proved to be a turning point for Prabhas, whose recent films had been failing repeatedly at the box office. Director Prashanth Neel‘s skillful storytelling earned him praise, and fans eagerly anticipated the sequel, Salaar: Part 2: Shouryanga Parvam.
However, rumours of its cancellation arose because of Neel’s involvement in a new project partnered with Jr NTR. Once the official confirmation of collaboration arrived, fans started worrying for “Salaar-2. When there were rumors of its permanance scrapped, the official handle of the saga had a rather jovial reply to this, giving Prabhas fans some hope.
The post showing both Prabhas and Neel laughing and chummily hinted at preparation for that sequel in progress on social media erased speculation and roused anticipation again. The uncertainty in the production time line gave an opportunity to lighten the mood and state that while “Salaar-2” might take some time to come, it could still be a possibility.
