Sajjad Delafrooz Shares How Much he Was Affected by Missing “WAR”

Sajjad Delafrooz, an actor who made his debut in Salman Khan’s Tiger Zinda Hai, talks about missing out on films and notes that he missed out on War because of a visa problem.

Losing a job isn’t a big thing for an actor, but eventually they need to develop a tough exterior to handle rejection. However, it does hurt a little more when a dream endeavour fails. Actor Sajjad Delafrooz was “heartbroken” because Siddharth Anand’s War didn’t materialise for him.

The documentation and immigration processes took a while because I was a newcomer to the nation. They had sealed the location since they were filming abroad, and my order was delayed for almost two to three days. They cannot move when you are shooting abroad. So I lost my work as a result of a two-day delay, Delafrooz recounts.

Despite War’s box office success, Delafrooz was even more hurt by its loss because it was the first movie he had been offered after making his acting debut in Tiger Zinda Hai.

It did not feel pleasant. After a while, you become used to it. But at the time, I was rather astonished. 48 hours only. I lost my job because I was unable to board that train. But it was a journey of learning for me,” the actor says.

The actor shares that in the last year he “lost around maybe two or three big projects”. “For me, it’s horrible experiences when you lose on a big film. But yes, what to say? You can’t blame yourself every single day in that situation. I did my best, but that was my best at that time,” he mention
