Going by the current situations, it is highly unlikely that the magnum opus RRR will not be releasing anytime soon. Currently, the pandemic situation is in its peak in India. Both the Telugu states are seeing thousands of cases already. Rajamouli couple of months back has tried to resume the shoot of RRR with the limited cast and crew but later dropped out the idea.
Though movies might resume their shoots in the next couple of months, RRR will have to face many hurdles in the near future. RRR has a lot of foreign actors in their setup. They are currently stuck in their respective countries and none of them are aware when the normalcy will be restored.
Alia Bhatt’s dates are still in dilemma. Picking out another actress of her stature is nearly impossible for the RRR team if Alia will not be able to adjust her dates. She needs to give bulk dates to RRR. With the challenges ahead it will be quite impossible to release RRR in 2021.
