Reports: Straight Fight Between Tamil Biggies

For the upcoming Pongal season two biggies such as Vijay starrer Varisu and Ajith starrer Thunivu are gearing up for a theatrical release from Kollywood. While Tollywood director Vamshi Paidipally directed Varisu, H Vinoth is the director for Thunivu.

Earlier reports came out that Ajith’s Thunivu will be out on January 11th and Vijay’s Varisu will hit the screens on January 12th. Meanwhile, this evening an official announcement came out that Thunivu will be out on January 11th as expected. Soon after the news came out, the reports are now coming in that Varisu will be out on January 11th as a straight clash to Thunivu. An official release date announcement of Varisu will be out soon.

It is widely known that both Varisu and Thunivu will have a simultaneous release in Telugu as Vaarasudu and Thegimpu respectively.
