Often many actors from past resurge out of nowhere, good 5 to 10 years past their prime. They seem to have found a way to re-market themselves or they seem to have a fan base that is eager to watch them again on screen. When almost everyone though Sharada will never return to the screen, she became a very popular poster mother of Tollywood. As she acted with NTR as his sister, she acquired a huge mass following and for 10 years, she again saw a resurrection in her career and demand.

Vani Sri too after Gorantha Deepam decided to take a break and then appeared on screen in next-generation hero films in lead antagonist characters. She was a star in those films and she accepted very few without overdoing such characters. Ramakrishnan got her revival with Baahubali and now, Renu Desai is looking for one. Even though she did not become popular for her acting skills, to state a fact, people want to watch her on-screen. She has only one condition though, the movie she is offered should have a strong story and even stronger character-arc for her.
