Release date confusion for Venkatesh’s Drushyam 2

Victory Venkatesh has completed Naarappa’s shooting a couple of months back and busy with the shooting of F3. Then the Malayalam blockbuster sequel Drishyam 2 released and the Mohan Lal starrer earned rave reviews. Venkatesh is quick to lap on that and within no time he started the shooting of Drushyam 2. It is known that he played the lead role in the first part as well.

Jeetu Joseph who directed the original is remaking it in Telugu. All the cast and crew who appeared in the first part will play their respective roles. The movie’s shooting is progressing at a brisk pace. The entire shooting of Drushyam 2 will be completed by May-end. After that, he will resume the shooting of F3.

With Naarappa releasing on May 14th and F3 scheduled for release on August 27th, the makers of Drushyam 2 are contemplating that whether the film can fit in between these two or otherwise, Drushyam 2 will be hitting the screens in December.
