Ravi Teja’s Khiladi Hindi version a colossal disaster

Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja’s recent release, Khiladi, directed by Ramesh Varma, was the actor’s immediate release after last year’s Krack. There were good expectations on the film until its release, but upon its release, the film turned out to be a major disappointment, not only for Ravi Teja’s fans but also for general audiences as well.

Considering the kind of numbers that the Hindi version of Allu Arjun’s Pushpa: The Rule, brought in, and given that Ravi Teja’s Hindi dubbed films have a good following on YouTube and on TV as well, it was expected that the film would perform well in Hindi. As a result, Pen India bought the Hindi rights of Khiladi and released it in Mumbai, Delhi, and other major Hindi markets.

However, Khiladi brought in nearly zero collections in the Hindi market, turning out to be a major and colossal disaster. This is now being considered as an example for all filmmakers who are planning to release their films in Hindi as well.
