Rathnavelu Reveals His Long-Time Dream

Rathnavelu known for films like Arya, Robo, Rangasthalam, Devara, Peddi and many others, has revealed his dream of becoming a director.

He said he has always wanted to direct a film and has already written three stories. Rathnavelu plans to make an action thriller with strong emotional depth.

However he wants to take a short break from cinematography to focus completely on script development before starting his directorial debut.

He also shared an interesting update about Ram Charan’s Peddi. Rathnavelu said the Delhi schedule was his favorite part of the film as it was shot without artificial lighting.

Instead of digital cameras, the team used traditional film negatives. After 17 years, he worked with film negatives again, saying they added a raw and realistic texture to the scenes.
