Ranbir Kapoor’s “Ramayana” Locks In Its Release Date

“Ramayana” is set to be one of the biggest films in Indian cinema featuring top stars and directed by Nitesh Tiwari.

This project is currently in production and the movie team announced that the first Part will be released during Diwali 2026 followed by Part 2 during Diwali 2027.

Huge sets have been built in Mumbai and the director aims to finish shooting the first part by mid 2025 allowing significant time for post production with top international studios handling the VFX.

Ranbir Kapoor stars as Lord Rama, Sai Pallavi as Sita, Yash as Ravana, and Sunny Deol as Lord Hanuman.

Produced by Namit Malhotra, this high-budget film has already completed two major shooting schedules.
