Rana Daggubati and Venkatesh have been saying that they do have plans to come together but the stories haven’t been good enough for both of them to come on screen. With fans of the actors looking forward to seeing them on silver screen, the actors have been trying to waiting for a good script. Even though there have been hints that in one or two films the makers did wanted to set the combination, in the last moment the actors did not come on board as the characters were not so interesting for them.
After a long time, the actors have decided to appear on screen together. Rana has agreed to play the investigating officer in a series planned after the book written by an investigation officer, about the assassination of former popular Prime Minister, Rajiv Gandhi. Makers did wanted to make it into a film but with all the material they have gathered and owing to the importance and sensitivity of the subject, they have decided to make into a web-series. Already, Rana did a role in the web-series in Telugu and Hindi, Social and later, he expressed his readiness to be part of them more.
Now, with this web series planned in different languages Telugu, Hindi and Tamil and also, English, the assassination and aftermath investigation will be brought into fore front it seems. Venkatesh has an important character and he will be seen with Rana in three episodes as per the reports. Other details are yet to be known, but Venkatesh has agreed to be a part of it and the shoot will end before, he starts his new film with Teja on 20th of January, as per the reports.
