“Baahubali” inspired many filmmakers to make big-budget movies for the whole country. It cost 440 crores to make both parts of “Baahubali” ten years ago, and they earned over 2500 crores. Now, many movies are being made with budgets of 300 to 400 crores.
Nitesh Tiwari is spending over 800 crores on “Ramayana,” which will be a huge movie. The main actors are already chosen: Ranbir Kapoor is Sri Ram, Sai Pallavi is goddess Sita, and Yash is Ravana. The movie will be released in all languages.
“Ramayana” will be a visual wonder, and the team has been working on it for a long time. It will have three parts, the first part ends after Sita and Ram’s marriage, the second shows their time in the forest and Sita’s abduction, and the third is the war between Rama and Ravana.
The movie will come out in 2027 after three years of shooting. “Ramayana” is important to all Indians, so the team is being careful to avoid controversies. It’s expected to break records and attract international audiences too.
