For a big role like Basavatarakamma, Vidya Balan has been roped in and for other roles like Savitri, Jamuna, Krishna Kumari, Sridevi several actresses are being considered it seems. As off now, Keerthy Suresh is in talks to reprise Savitri on screen again after Mahanati and Rakul Preet Singh is in talks with the team for Sridevi. Krish, the director of the film, believes she can pull it off for Vetagadu sequence and she is almost confirmed to appear, it seems.
