NTR, one of the greatest acting legends and political leaders of India, is getting his-story which coincides with Golden phase of Telugu Cinema and its gradual changes to what we witness it as today. The team is trying to address this by roping in famous actors for cameos like Mahanati. This step will keep the interest of the audience going in otherwise what could be a docu-drama for youngsters who only know NTR as an actor and nothing else.
For a big role like Basavatarakamma, Vidya Balan has been roped in and for other roles like Savitri, Jamuna, Krishna Kumari, Sridevi several actresses are being considered it seems. As off now, Keerthy Suresh is in talks to reprise Savitri on screen again after Mahanati and Rakul Preet Singh is in talks with the team for Sridevi. Krish, the director of the film, believes she can pull it off for Vetagadu sequence and she is almost confirmed to appear, it seems.
