Jailer is one of the biggest hits in Rajinikanth’s career, and now its sequel, Jailer 2, is set to begin soon. The makers officially announced the sequel yesterday, on the occasion of Sankranthi, with a grand video.
Rajinikanth will reprise his role as Muthuvel Pandian in the second part. The video starts with director Nelson and music composer Anirudh casually discussing a new script in Goa. Suddenly, chaos erupts as random men are shot down by bullets.
It’s then revealed that Rajinikanth has arrived to take them down. Armed with a gun in one hand and a sword in the other he starts attacking them one by one. Anirudh and Nelson hide in fear as Superstar continues the fight.
Finally, more enemies appear, but rockets are launched from inside, wiping them out.
The video ends with a powerful close-up of Rajinikanth, giving fans an adrenaline rush and officially marking his return as the iconic Jailer.
