Rajinikanth Calls Coolie A Next-Level Mass Film

When it comes to mass songs in South Indian cinema, Rajinikanth’s ‘Hukum’ from Jailer made a massive impact. It became a viral hit instantly, thrilling fans with its energy and heroism.

Rajinikanth himself was so impressed that he publicly kissed music director Anirudh Ravichander, his nephew, at the audio launch and said Anirudh might never top “Hukum”.

However, things changed with the release of Coolie’s first single, ‘Powerhouse’. According to Anirudh, Rajinikanth personally told him that ‘Powerhouse’ has now surpassed ‘Hukum’.

Anirudh added that Coolie, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, is packed with next-level mass moments and could be Lokesh’s best mass film to date.

Anirudh also shared his working style, he starts work in the evening, collaborates closely with his eight-member team, and trusts their instincts.

With Rajini backing the new track and hype building around Coolie, fans can expect a powerful musical and cinematic treat.
