There’s been a long associated sentiment with director SS Rajamouli that his actors always face failures after making a film with him. This has been the case with all of his heroes, including NTR, Prabhas, Ravi Teja, Nani, Ram Charan and even Nithiin. At Acharya’s pre-release event, Megastar Chiranjeevi expressed confidence in the fact that Ram Charan would score a blockbuster with Acharya, breaking the stereotype of actors facing flops after Koratala’s film.
With Acharya having been released today, it is clear that the sentiment remains intact, with Acharya getting less than stellar responses, and mixed responses at best. In fact, fans and audiences have even developed an opinion that the film didn’t even feel like a Koratala Siva film in the first place, due to its underwhelming tone.
Acharya now turning out to be a disappointment, Ram Charan’s fans are hoping that his film with Shankar will turn out to be a success. On the other hand, Koratala Siva is going to collaborate with NTR for his next film, and here’s hoping that the film does well for both of them.
