Indian box office records were smashed this year, with director SS Rajamouli’s RRR, which made over a 1000 Crores worldwide, making it only the third film in the history of Indian cinema to do so, after Dangal and the Baahubali franchise.
Following the release and success of RRR, Rajamouli went abroad with his family for a vacation, recently, and has now returned. Now that the director has had some time off, it is being said that he will begin working on Superstar Mahesh’s project very soon. There were strong reports that Mahesh and Rajamouli met in Dubai, where the two headed to, before the release of Mahesh’s Sarkaru Vaari Paata.
Earlier, Rajamouli said that he has two scripts in mind for Mahesh, and he would go ahead with one of them, based on what he and Mahesh decide. The film is expected to begin filming in 2023, with KL Narayana set to produce the film.
