Rajamouli Receives One Of The Biggest Honours Of His Career
Rajamouli has received another prestigious international honour during his visit to the Lumière Museum in Lyon which is in France.
His great blockbuster films Eega and RRR were screened before a packed audience at the museum.
During the visit Thierry Frémaux, Director of the Institut Lumière and the Cannes Film Festival welcomed Rajamouli and took him on a tour of the historic street where cinema was born for sure.
The biggest highlight came when Rajamouli found his name added to the Mur des Cinéastes a wall that honours some of the world’s greatest filmmakers including Martin Scorsese, Clint Eastwood, Quentin Tarantino and Francis Ford Coppola.
Rajamouli expressed his gratitude calling it a humbling and unforgettable moment. The recognition further strengthens his global reputation as one of India’s finest filmmakers.
Visited the Lumière Museum and the screening room where Eega and RRR was screened to a full house in Lyon, France.
