After their film, “RRR,” won an Oscar, director SS Rajamouli and music director MM Keeravani, along with other crew members, returned to Hyderabad.
After winning an Oscar for the song “Naatu Naatu,” renowned director SS Rajamouli, music producer MM Keeravani, vocalist Kaala Bhairava, and other members of the “RRR” crew returned to Hyderabad on Friday.
Fans, friends, and well-wishers greeted Rama Rajamouli, her son Karthikeya, Valli Keeravani, Sri Simha, and other travellers as they landed at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport.
Fans swarmed SS Rajamouli and Keeravani as soon as they emerged from the airport and competed to take photos with them.
Rajamouli walked away saying “Jai Hind” when several journalists attempted to chat with him. An Oscar was given to “Naatu Naatu” for best original song. Naatu Naatu is the first Indian and Asian film song to win the coveted Oscar in the 95-year history of the ceremony.
On March 15, Jr. NTR had returned to Hyderabad. He had hailed the Oscar win as a memorable moment while speaking the media.
“I can never forget the moment when the Oscar award was announced for Naatu Naatu. It was an amazing experience which can’t be described in words,” he had said.
The other actor in the song, Ram Charan, arrived in Delhi on Friday.
