Rajamouli At 25 Years: Redefining Indian Cinema

Rajamouli is regarded as India’s biggest director and a true superstar of Indian cinema. In a career spanning 25 years he has directed 12 films, all of which became blockbusters.

He was the first Indian director to break language barriers and give Telugu films a pan-Indian identity. After the massive success of the Baahubali franchise budgets of Indian films rose to new levels and producers began taking bigger risks.

With SSMB29, Rajamouli is now preparing to take Indian cinema to global audiences promising many surprises.

Known for avoiding controversies Rajamouli dedicates all his energy to cinema. He spends extensive time on script development, pre-visualization and achieving perfection on sets.

His family has been his biggest strength, his father Vijayendra Prasad pens his scripts, while his cousin MM Keeravani composes music for all his films.
