Raithu team are in Big B dilemma!

Nandamuri Balakrishna is known for taking some out of the box decisions and he sticks to his guts after taking one. Recently, he had been more brutally honest about his previous mistakes in the film choices, even scene choices and said he would like to correct them. He admitted he should not have done few stunts like train going reverse when he slaps his thigh and few more. Seems like he has taken his choices more seriously once he reached the milestone of 100 films. For 100th film, he listened to scripts from all the writers and directors in TFI and there were speculations that his most loved film, Aditya 369 may get a sequel finally, after 20 years, Aditya 999.

Then there was buzz that the maker of Narasimha Naidu and SamaraSimha Reddy, his biggest hits, B.Gopal might return to directing him after a gap of 10 years, since their last movie, Palanati Brahmanaidu. These two projects had the respective directors and their writers discussing with the actor.But, the buzz became quite strong that Boyapati Srinu, the maker of Simha and Legend, will make the 100th and Balakrishna will have to wait for the maker to finish off his Sarrainodu. BalaKrishna chose to listen to other scripts and he liked the idea pitched by Krishna Vamsi and the creative director worked on the full bound script and narrated it to the hero. He suggested few changes and before he could complete the corrections, the announcement of Gautamiputra Satakarni as 100th film of Balayya, with Krrish, came out in press.

BalaKrishna who really loved the idea and initial script by Krishna Vamsi, called the director back and took the complete narration. He decided that Raithu will be his 101st. He let Krishna Vamsi complete his commitment for Nakshtram with Sundeep Kishan and recently, has both the films approached the end of the respective shoots, the team started finalising the cast for Raithu. In preparations for that, the team met with mighty Big B, Amitabh Bachchan who was busy canning with Ram Gopal Verma for his Sarkar 3. Amitabh Bachchan liked the idea and the role offered to him and gave the film team 17 dates in a bulk, more than what the team wished for.

But now, the team might have to think about a replacement for the legend as the team planned a schedule in July, for the actor but sadly he had no dates available in the month. Big B is still a busy bee when it comes to acting and he has many prior commitments even at his age. So the team are now in dilemma to whether plan a schedule involving the legend around the dates he can give or to go with some other actor who can fit in their time frame.Apparently, Krishna Vamsi and Balakrishna are more than convinced that the role should be played by Big B only and they want to push their schedule. But considering Balakrishna is also a dedicated politician and an elected MLA, for Hindupur constituency, planning for any movie will also involve his availability of dates and time as well, as the actor doesn’t want any important problems left unsolved due to his absence in the office. Great tussle, heh!
