Allu Arjun and director Sukumar‘s movie Pushpa 2: The Rule released on December 5. Produced by Mythri Movie Makers, the movie received a super hit response from the premieres itself. This led to massive openings on the first day.
On the second day, there were slight drops in some areas of the Telugu states. However, the movie performed exceptionally well in overseas markets and in the North. Despite high ticket prices, audiences are flocking to theaters.

The movie Pushpa 2 did a theatrical business of Rs. 600 crores. To achieve break-even, it needs to collect a share of Rs. 605 crores. By the end of two days, the film has earned a share of Rs. 199.89 crores, setting all-time records. To break even, it still needs another Rs. 405.32 crores.
On the second day, the movie saw slight drops in areas like East and West. If the momentum picks up during the weekend (Saturday and Sunday), there’s a good chance it can achieve break-even.
