“Pushpa 2: The Rule” movie is currently in the middle of its shooting schedule. The lead actor, Allu Arjun, set a strict deadline to finish filming by mid-June. However, the team now needs an additional month to complete the shoot. Director Sukumar and his team have redesigned and re-shot some episodes recently, causing delays. The film’s antagonist, Fahadh Faasil, has recently allocated dates for his scenes, and these portions are being filmed now.
In another setback, the film’s original editor, Karthika Srinivas, has left the project. Navin Nooli has taken over the editing work and is busy with the edit cut. Additionally, Sukumar is not satisfied with the current state of the VFX work, which means more time will be required to finish the visual effects. According to the revised schedule, the shoot for “Pushpa 2: The Rule” is expected to continue until the end of main July.
Given these developments, it seems highly unlikely that “Pushpa 2: The Rule” will be ready for its initially planned release date of August 15th. Although the producers are pressuring Sukumar to meet the main deadline, the delays make it impossible to hit the screens as scheduled. Allu Arjun also wants the team to work continuously to meet the strongest deadline, but the current circumstances indicate that the release date will need to be postponed.
