Puri Jagannath says that his Jana Gana Mana will be a Pan-Indian project

Director Puri Jagannath did express hurt that Mahesh Babu did not take his film, Jana Gana Mana on to the sets, post announcement. But the actor said that he liked the script and if Jagan, wants to direct him with the script, he will join him. Now, the director has entered a multi-film deal with Karan Johar and their first film will be Vijay Devarakonda and Ananya Pandey starrer. The movie is a Pan-India film and he will resume shooting once the situation is close to Normal.

He talked in an interview and shared that he wants to make Pan-Indian films now and he is confident about his skills after Ismart Shankar. He said that he will start his dream project, Jana Gana Mana soon. He did not say, if he will take Mahesh Babu for the lead role or not. The movie pre-production work will start simultaneously, with post production work of Fighter/Liger, it seems. Puri shared that he worked on the script so much that he is itching/waiting to make it into a movie soon.
