Puri Jagannadh known for his bold filmmaking has faced back-to-back failures with Liger and Double iSmart.
After taking a break he is now working on new scripts. As per the latest update he is planning a sequel to Golimaar which starred Gopichand and was a decent hit.
Puri recently shared the idea with Gopichand and the actor is excited to collaborate again. Bellamkonda Suresh is likely to produce the sequel.
Though Puri worked on multiple scripts after Double iSmart, with many heroes busy, he decided to move forward with Golimaar 2.
Meanwhile Gopichand is also in talks for projects with Jil director Radha Krishna Kumar and Ghazi director Sankalp Reddy. It’s unclear which film will start first, and an official announcement is awaited.
