One of the most interesting and anticipated combinations that the audience is waiting to witness on the big screen is the one between director Puri Jagannath and Vijay Deverakonda. Both of them have their own unique personality in the industry and are quite famous for it. Both of them are also known to be people who bring life into a party, which is why their combination is one of the most awaited.
Puri and Vijay’s Liger, which is being co-produced by Bollywood star producer Karan Johar, has Bollywood actress Ananya Panday as the leading lady in it. Vijay will be seen as a boxer in the film, and the film has been in production for more than a year now. The film was supposed to have been completed in a short time but was affected by both the waves of the coronavirus pandemic, due to which the production of the film got delayed.
Yet, sources say that much of the film is done, with only a few parts left out. According to the latest reports, the makers of Liger are planning to release the film for Diwali this year. If it turns out to be true, then Liger will arrive in theatres much sooner than anyone expected. Given that there are good expectations on the film, releasing it on a festival would be an added advantage for it.
