Prudhvi Defends His Comment, Says Laila Will Be A Blockbuster

Prudhvi sparked controversy with his “11 goats” comment at the pre-release event of Vishwak Sen’s Laila. His remarks upset fans of former AP CM Jagan Mohan Reddy who are now calling for a boycott of the film.

Amid the growing negativity, Prudhvi was admitted to a hospital in Hyderabad due to high blood pressure.

Speaking to the media Prudhvi clarified that his comment was not aimed at any political party or individual.

“If people misunderstood my words, I can’t help it. I’ve been facing severe trolling and getting hundreds of calls from unknown people claiming to be YSRCP supporters. Calling for a movie boycott over this is unnecessary. Mark my words, Laila will be a huge hit” he said.

Laila stars Akanksha Sharma as the female lead directed by Ram Narayan and produced by Sahu Garapati. The film is set to release worldwide on February 14th.
