In Amaravati, AP Cinematography Minister Kandula Durgesh met top Telugu film producers to discuss the ongoing workers strike and recent issues in the industry.
Producers shared their worries about how the strike is affecting film productions and the livelihoods of workers.
Minister Durgesh said that while the matter mainly falls under the Film Chamber’s responsibility, he would take their concerns to Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan.
He assured them of the state government’s support for the growth and stability of the film industry in Andhra Pradesh.
The meeting was attended by all the high paid producers.
Talks will continue in the coming days to reach a solution that works for both the industry and workers. For now all Telugu film shoots are on hold until the strike is resolved.
