Young Rebel Star Prabhass has never shied away from experiments, having done several experimental movies in his career so far. The actor is trying to stick to the same formula even now, despite having a pan-Indian image. Post the Baahubali franchise and Saaho, Prabhas established himself as an action star, but his latest film, Radhe Shyam, is completely different.
Talking about it in a recent press conference, Prabhas said that it was a conscious decision to not do another action film, and wanted to fo a love story. He said that he’d listened to 3-4 scripts and finalised Radhe Shyam. Prabhas noted that he wanted to break stereotypes and Radhe Shyam was the key to that. Prabhas also said that he hopes that Radhe Shyam opens doors for him to do more experiments in the future, and he’s hopeful that the film reaches all the expectations.
Radhe Shyam is directed by Radha Krishna Kumar, and Pooja Hegde is the leading lady of the film. The film is set in Italy in the 1970s, where Prabhas plays Vikramaditya, a world-renowned palmist, and Pooja plays Prerana, Vikram’s love interest.
